Responsibilities - Design Leader. This project began in a unique way as the concept was taken over by Buchan from another architectural firm. My role began by consolidating the original concept design, re-designing, and re-presenting to the new sitting council of Ipswich. The office tower features a two-storey inverted podium, with seven stories of offices above (including the council chambers), and three levels of parking with bike storage and end of trip facilities. As design leader I designed and oversaw each office tower level, from the overall concept, floor plan layouts, joinery design, finishes and furniture implementation, to the construction documentation of all elements.
