THE BACKGROUND
I left, I learned, I came home.
After an honours bachelor degree in Interior Design and over ten years working across residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury hotel projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, I made a deliberate choice to come back to the Northern Rivers - the region I grew up in, and the one I want to design for.
Working at scale alongside architects and developers taught me how design decisions actually hold up under pressure. Which ones are driven by genuine thinking, and which ones aren't. That rigour is something I carry into every project, regardless of size.
Good design shouldn't announce itself, it should just make everything feel right.
I work independently and with a small number of clients at a time. That's not a limitation, it's the point. When you work with me, you get my full attention and a designer who is genuinely invested in getting your space right. Not a team process with your name attached. Not five options when one considered answer would serve you better.
I came back because of the region, the light, the nature, the way people live here. It's what I know and what I care about most. The work I do now is more personal than anything I did in the city, and that's exactly what I chose.
