The same eye. Built for

business.

Same approach, different context. Spatial thinking first, material direction that lasts, and one designer who stays across the entire project. Commercial work is currently offered from concept through to design development phase, scoped individually depending on the brief.

THE BACKGROUND

Experienced across every scale of a commercial project.

Before returning to the Northern Rivers, I spent close to a decade working with architectural and interior design studios in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I got to design across commercial, civic, hospitality, and luxury hotel projects from small to significant scale.

Working alongside architects and developers under real commercial pressure teaches you which design decisions actually hold up, and which ones don't. That rigour comes with me to every project, regardless of size.

THE INVESTMENT

Priced per project. Always a fixed scope.

Commercial projects vary too much in scope to offer fixed packages — a café fitout and a library refurbishment are fundamentally different engagements. What stays the same is the approach.

Commercial projects are structured to suit the project — fixed fee per phase where scope allows, or an hourly arrangement where the brief needs room to evolve. Either way, the structure is agreed before work begins.

This is an independent studio, which means every project gets genuine attention, not a process with your name on it.

If your project needs a large multi-disciplinary team from day one, I'll tell you that honestly. If it needs one designer who will think hard about it from brief to handover, that's exactly what I do.
